Those who faced acne were most likely doing something that absolutely should not be done. And after some time, they understand their mistakes. So let us explain again what absolutely should not be done and why.
- Always use only those cosmetics and hygiene products that were specially created for your skin type. Normally, such cosmetic products are labeled "non-comedogenic," i.e., the ingredients do not contribute to the formation of comedones, blockage of skin pores, or suitable “for acne-prone skin".
- Closed comedones and inflammatory elements must not be squeezed out or opened. Because of this, the skin is additionally damaged, inflammation intensifies, and it can result in multiplication of infection and cause spots and scars.
- Cleanse your skin often. Instead of regular soap, which dries the skin too much and changes its pH balance, use unique products - cleansing foams, gels, which directly indicate use for oily/problem skin, prone to acne. Use suitable products for your skin to avoid dryness, flaking, irritation, and new rushes.
- Just wash your face, do not rub your skin. Then apply a skincare cream or healing agent to your skin. Be sure to let your skin dry for 10-15 minutes before applying any acne products.
- Avoid oily cosmetics for the face and hair.
- Makeup products should also be chosen according to the type of skin, in this case – problematic one. Do not use powder, blush, or makeup, as they often contain oils. Always choose quality products that are tailored to the specifics of problem skin. Here, specially developed ViTrio Therapy products come to the rescue, where you can easily choose your own care at home. It is worth paying attention to the so-called "pharmacy brands" - i.e., cosmetics sold only in pharmacies. ViTrio products contain additional healing components (zinc, bio-sulfur, various special complexes such as the patented active complex Ac.Net ™, Sulfotrico®️ SP, and others), which prevent clogging pores and slightly dry inflammatory elements.
- Protect your skin from excessive exposure to sunlight. Avoid tanning beds and do not sunbathe for long periods. Sunburn only masks the rash and at the same time aggravates the inflammation in the long term. In addition, many acne treatments increase the skin's sensitivity to UV light, leading to pigmentation.
- Exposed skin should not come into contact with clothing, headgear, as well as items of sports or special work equipment (helmets, etc.).
Remember one rule, to identify the cause of acne, you first need to contact an endocrinologist and a specialist. Then, once you have eliminated the internal causes of acne, you can begin to look for the proper care for your problem skin.
